The reader recognises their own situation. That is the whole of the first line's job, and it is the hardest part to fake.
The ask is small enough that refusing takes more thought than accepting. Most replies are the path of least resistance, and that is fine.
There is something to gain that is not a demo. A number, a comparison, a piece of the answer sent for free.
Manufactured urgency belongs to none of these. A deadline the reader can tell you invented costs you the reply and the next one.
How we do it
The offer we build with you has to be one you can actually deliver. A promise that does not survive the first call is not an offer, it is a no-show waiting to happen.
